The Belgious© celebrates the women and men who have shaped the Belgium we cherish: diverse, daring, surreal and deeply human. Since 1830, artists, entrepreneurs, thinkers and creators have carried our country’s colours far beyond its borders. Through this portrait series, I pay tribute to those whose talent and energy continue to make Belgium shine on the world stage. More than an exhibition, The Belgious© is an invitation to take pride in who we are and to pass that legacy on to future generations. As Belgium approaches its 200th anniversary, it deserves this tribute.
